Raising money to cure cancer and improve cancer treatment options, Paceline Ride, a local nonprofit fundraised $400,000 in 2022. The money, which was given to the Georgia Cancer Center on Thursday, Jan. 26, helps fund 13 cancer research projects. Paceline's signature fundraising bike ride event started in North Augusta in October with over 400 riders participating. According to the nonprofit, 100% of the funds go towards research. Paceline started holding fundraising events in 2019 and raised over $1 million.
