Construction on Interstate 20 at the state line will happen overnight this week.As part of the ongoing Savannah River Bridge projects, construction crews will pour concrete onto the new Augusta Canal bridge spans. Drivers should anticipate delays near construction zones.Westbound lane closures will be implemented by the Georgia Department of Transportation beginning Jan. 31 at 8 p.m. from Exit 1 in South Carolina through the Augusta Canal Bridge in Georgia. Work is expected to be completed by 6 a.
