The SEC East rivalry between Georgia and South Carolina returned for the 30th anniversary of the event. Border Bash at SRP Park in North Augusta serves as a pep rally event prior to the UGA and USC football game on Saturday. This will be the final Border Bash for an undetermined number of years due to SEC Conference realignment. "It's always exciting because Border Bash has been such a tradition for many years, and to get both schools out and all the families and kids running around on the baseball field," event producer Joe Stevenson said.
