I recently had my first child here in Augusta Ga. I'm not from here. So did not know you had to go to the vital records here. To get your child's birth certificate. I thought they send it to you. Also did not know you had to pay for it either. Really thought the first one would be free. Definitely don't get paid for thinking,lol. But, anyway. The staff at the vital records were not friendly. I was asking a simple question. To a lady sitting near the front window. She knew I was talking to her. But, she chose to ignore me. So a lady that sat way in the back answered me. I thought the lady near the front was very rude. And the lady that sat across from her. Near the window as well. Was also not frirendly and rude. Only the lady way in the back was friendly and not rude. Always the rude staff keep their jobs. And the nice staff they chase off. Darn Shame!!
