Lake Olmstead Trailhead in Augusta, Georgia

Very peaceful and great scenery. Lots of relaxing vibes. You wouldn’t expect the waterfall to be there but it’s there and it’s beautiful. Nice for walkin and biking.

Not a bad place if you want to go for a long walk by the water. Although the trail could be a little bit better because trucks to drive down it for maintenance but leave ruts in the road so it makes biking a little rough but it is a nice for the half 5 Mile Trail all the way down period once you get down about two miles there is actually a little Park at that end. The scenery is nature oriented and not a bad place if you want to go for a run or walk and not have to worry about cars. Also what stinks is that sometimes on the trail people do not pick up after their animals. Also there are separate directions you can go run along the canal the other one along the highway and one back two words downtown which is kind of short you can tend to follow the train tracks down but I don't know where that leads you.
