Augusta Urology Associates in Augusta, Georgia

I waited for an appointment at Augusta Arthritis Center for at least 6 months. My primary care had to resubmit the referral at least once. THEN, when they finally called me for an appointment, my labs were out of date so I had to have all new labs. AND Augusta Arthritis Center insisted that I pay my $50 copay prior to my appointment which was 2 months later. At the appointment, I was really hopeful that this doctor was different because the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. When they called me back, though, and the doctor finally came in, she kept asking me questions, but never looked at me when she asked. I thought she was talking to herself as she went through the multitudinous computer pages of what is supposedly my account. I don't know what I had in that account as I had never been to that doctor before. I was then instructed to visit the xray department and the xray tech was great! Then, I went to the labs and because my insurance won't accept the lab they use, I had to schedule labs myself outside of the doctor's office due to the type of labs required. I did this the next day. I was then told to make a new appointment where we would discuss the tests. The appointment person kept looking for something and finally sent me away saying they would call me if there was a cancellation. They gave me a patient portal to go to in order to check my labs and I've been trying to do so for 2 days. It doesn't work. No one has called me for a re-check and I'm about to go to someone else.
