AUGUSTA, Ga. — A Georgia fire department crew found itself in need of a rescue when its fire truck got stuck in a giant hole in a parking lot. It happened Tuesday around 3:50 p.m. outside the Goodwill off Peach Orchard Road in Augusta. The Augusta Fire Department says one of its engines slowed down to go over a speed bump when suddenly the pavement collapsed. The department shared photos showing a hole under the pavement at least a couple of feet deep. Fire officials cordoned the area off for safety.
